1. The API service
The Toucora API lets you turn public YouTube videos, playlists and channels into structured transcripts, translations and exports. It is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Endpoints, limits and pricing may change, and availability is not guaranteed.
2. Keys and acceptable use
- Keep your API key secret. You are responsible for requests made with it.
- Do not use the API to break any law or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Do not attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or circumvent rate limits or credit accounting.
- Do not resell the API as a substitute for the service itself without a written agreement.
3. Your content and third-party material
You are responsible for the URLs you submit and how you use the output. Transcripts, captions and video content belong to their creators and rightsholders. Toucora provides the text; it does not grant you rights in the underlying video. Quote and credit with care, and follow the source platform’s terms.
4. Credits and billing
Accounts receive a free credit allowance. Paid plans, when introduced, are billed per the plan you select. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except where required by law.
5. Disclaimers
Automatically generated transcripts, translations and AI-assisted output can contain errors. Verify anything important against the source video. We do not warrant that output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toucora is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the API.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and continued use means you accept the new terms.
